Happy Holidays!

Wow, talk about blog silence!

My nanowrimo experiment didn’t go *quite* as planned. I got 35k words into it and the world exploded. At least here in Ann Arbor 🙂 So I haven’t had much of a chance to write or post. But it’ll be better next year! I have a book to edit, and a book to keep writing. I’m going to be a busy girl. (Not to mention Mass Effect 2 coming out at the end of January, plus another play through of Dragon Age!)

Wow – next year. Only a few days away. Remember 10 years ago when we were all freaking out about Y2K? Seems like ages ago, and yesterday at the same time. I’m hoping the next ten years will be just as fun. 2010 already looks like it’s going to be full of surprises. R’s brother has a new fiancee. My sister is likely to get engaged. The merger at work will be official. One thing after another. And yet it will all work out. And in between everything else I’ll keep writing. I’m going to get an agent this year, dammit!

We’re off to see Avatar this afternoon, and then to my parent’s tomorrow for Christmas dinner. R’s family is on Sunday, so it’s going to be a busy weekend. I’m hoping I might be able to get some shopping in on Saturday, but we’ll have to see.

Whatever you are planning to do this weekend, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!

  1. Let us not underestimate how Dragon Age destroyed NaNo this year.
